Gulf Coast Academy, located in Fort Myers, Florida, offers a comprehensive Electrolysis/Laser & Light-Based Hair Removal Program designed to equip students with the skills necessary for a career in permanent hair removal. Students learn to safely and effectively remove hair from all areas of the face and body. This is a 320-hour state-approved program. If needed, payment plans are available.

- Licensing Laws & State Regulations – Comply with Florida Electrology Council and DOH standards.

Hands-On Clinical Training
Under the guidance of licensed professionals, students receive practical experience with:
- Electrolysis Treatments – Hands-on practice using thermolysis, galvanic, and blend techniques.
- Laser Hair Removal – Use FDA-approved Class IV medical lasers for permanent hair reduction.
- IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) – Apply IPL technology for hair reduction and photorejuvenation.
- Pre- & Post-Treatment Procedures – Skin preparation, cooling techniques, and aftercare education.
- Client Charting & Documentation – Maintain accurate treatment records and progress tracking.
- Real-Client Practice – Perform treatments under instructor supervision on live models.
- Device Calibration & Maintenance – Operate and care for electrology and laser equipment safely.
- Professional Conduct & Communication – Build confidence in delivering safe and effective treatments.
