IPL / Photorejuvenation Course

Photorejuvenation, using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, reduces the appearance of common skin flaws, including brown/pigment spots, melasma, acne, broken capillaries, and sun damage. This minimally invasive skin procedure also treats signs of aging such as wrinkles or age spots. Photorejuvenation naturally stimulates cell regeneration as well as collagen and elastin fiber formation.

Although IPL is considered a new innovation in the medical aesthetic field, it is rapidly becoming the most preferred method of skin rejuvenation and hair removal. This virtually painless cosmetic technique requires little recovery time, has few side effects and the delivers benefits lasting up to a year or more.

IPL / Photorejuvenation training is essential for those pursuing a career in medical aesthetics. The training is conducted by qualified professors who offer students an undoubtable competitive edge.

IPL / Photorejuvenation Treatments

Intense pulsed light treatment is a type of cosmetic treatment. During a typical treatment, skin is cooled with a cooling gel, which allows the hand-held laser device to glide smoothly over treatment areas.

IPL lasers disintegrate pigments under the skin. After an IPL treatment, the treated pigments begin to flake off, leaving behind clean, smooth skin.

While IPL is comparable to laser therapy, a laser concentrates on a single wavelength of light on the skin, while IPL emits light at many wavelengths.
